Job Description

The Payroll Check Clerk will be responsible for preparing and processing commission checks in an accurate and timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


Pay Rate - $18 an hour


Work Days: Mon - Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (full time on-site)

Skills

  • Strong numerical and data entry skills with high accuracy.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately organize and label commission checks.

  • Verify employer information and payment details to ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain a clear filing and tracking system for issued checks.

  • Ensure timely preparation and handling of commission checks according to company schedules.

  • Communicate with management and staff regarding check distribution status.

  • Safeguard and maintain confidentiality of all payroll and commission records.

  • Support the payroll team with clerical tasks and recordkeeping as needed.
